About AVSI

AVSI is a cooperative research environment comprised of major aerospace companies and government organizations working along with academia to solve problems common to its members. AVSI provides a predefined framework for cooperative research allowing members to save money through cost sharing and to solve problems outside the scope of a single organization.

AVSI Provides these Advantages to Members

  • A framework for cooperative research with protected IP and in-place contracting and non-disclosure agreements.
  • A structure to solve pre-competitive problems economically through cost sharing.
  • The ability to address problems that cannot be solved by a single organization.
  • An organization through which members can speak to regulatory agencies and suppliers with a unified industry voice.
