RF Interference with Radar Altimeters

AVSI has been conducting studies investigating RF interference with the operation of radar altimeters (RAs), for both interference sources that originate in the RA band (4.2 – 4.4 GHz) and source that originate outside the RA band. The WAIC Project AFE 76s1 focused on coexistence between WAIC systems and RAs operating in the RA Band. The related project AFE 76s2 Out-of-band Interference with Radio Altimeters is focused on out-of-band interference (OOBI).
